Hi, I went to a new doctor and he ordered blood tests, they came out looking good. I requested a gi specialist and was given a highly sceptical doctor who wanted to know why a gastrologist and not an onocologist was in charge of the tumor. So we did a cancer blood test and it came back no hep C and he said no cancer : )  and we did a CT and I am NED!!!! Completely clean of cancer. Now I just have to get out of this subsidized housing unit I ended up in cause I couldn't afford private housing. I am back to work part-time, and looking to start life out again.

Cancer diagnosed 3/2002, NED 5/24/2018. Long battle and first NED. Lets keep this NED as the continueing diagnosis for the rest of my life, may it be a long life. I am still tired all the time, but that could be my living conditions.

Forgot to Thank my Doctors and Little Liver Pill

I just want to thank all of the doctors who were so patient with me, who screamed at me about sugar feeds cancer, and kept faith in me up to the last day of the battle. I want to thank the research team who worked for 14 years developing the chemo pill that finally worked, I want to thank the people who tested the drug before I was put on the finally successful chemo pill. I want to thank the doctor who through the entire time kept saying come on, stay alive for the new drug we are developing.

    THANK YOU, MEDICAL TEAM.

    Well, I won that battle.

January 2019 I went in for my second scan (late, you notice 6mos is Nov) and it was Abnormal. 2 lesions 9mm each, which they did a targeted procedure in July with the MRI. IT WAS SUCESSFUL. Then the MRI accidently roved, took a picture and showcased two more 9mm tumors, in a different location. My next scan/procedure is in January.
