Pregnancy after esophageal resection

Hello. I am new to the board and hoping to get some answers. I do not have cancer, however, I had an esophageal resection in April 2013 to remove a softball size mass from the lower 2/3 of my esophagus. The surgery was performed using VATS, but during removal a hole was put in my esophagus, so they had to make a 3 inch incision under my left breast to go in and repair the hole. In June of 2016 I developed a hernia, and since then I have had issues with pain and muscle spasms. I am 33 and have been married for a little over a year. My husband and I would like to have children, but I'm concerned with carrying a child while having all of these issues. We are having a hard time finding any information regarding this matter, so I'm hoping someone on here may be able to relate. Thank you.
