I had a upper left Lobectomy , may 5th 2017. I had stage 1 lung cancer but didnot need further treatment. I am a former smoker of 30+ years. I have gained almost 50 pounds since February when i quit smoking. My question is ..foes anyone else have a big appetite after a lobectomy ? Im not sure if im still having withdrawal from not smoking or if something is wrong??

Did they put you on steroids?

This could easily be a cause of increased appetite if so. Regardless talk to your dr about this if you haven't.
