Possible cancer?

I've had basal cell carcinoma previously which was misdiagnosed for over 2 years. Recently I came across this on my buttock, it's been there for around 2 months, scabs up, scab comes off and it's still raw and scabs again and never goes away. Been to the docotors and she thinks it's cancer and has referred me to have it diagnosed. She said as she skin is rolled around the edges she is 99% It is skin cancer. Just wondered if anybody had any views on whether they think, from the picture, that it indeed looks like it could be basal cell? Any feedback appreciated!
