Since my Surgery 1 1/2 years ago I have had a pain in my butt. I have been controlling it with Ibuprofen.

After my recurrence was discovered my pain increased from a 2 to 3 or 4 at times. My Colorectal surgeon prescribed Norco. I don't really want to take them. He also proposaled a "Sacral Nerve Block", which I'm not sure of.

Looking to hear of pain strategies out there That have worked for you.

Thanks in advance

Not sure if its the same one but I had a nerve block for my surgery and it was amazing. I had ZERO pain through my surgery and recovery

    Sounds like the same thing..

Sounds like the same thing, if it's injected into your spine.

Were you able to use your legs after the "nerve block"? How long did it ask.

    Thanks for your input.

    I'm not saying it's related,

I'm not saying it's related, but when I was concerned about the first reoccurance in my liver, I kept feeling an ache coming from that area on my right side. It made me worry even more, was I feeling the tumours growing? I finally realized I was on the laptop alot, sitting in bed. I sleep on the left side and tend to lean right when sitting to watch tv, read, and I sometimes slump further that way, especially while nodding off. Once I stopped doing that, the ache quit. Just my tale of fear, imagination, and bad posture. Hope you find a workable way to diminish the pain, Norco sure is no long term fix............................Dave

    Thanks..

Some of my pain is positioning. I think I need to visit a Pain Management Doctor and see what they offer.
