Independent melanoma sites

Diagnosed with Stage 3a in January 2017. Went for check in February and another mole removed came back positive for melanoma (stage one). Had yet another suspicious mole removed last week and waiting for results. Anyone familiar with having multiple independent sites? Should I be doing something different?
