Biopsy results are back

Got off the plane this morning to find a voice mail from my Onco's office to call them back for results from the lymph node biopsy done on Friday. The biopsy does show that the lymph node contains UPSC. Not sure what next steps are other than meeting with the ONCO on Friday to discuss what next steps may be. 

ACK!!! Damn cancer...

    there would be benign explanation.  I'm sorry.  And now you are in for several more days of the waiting game.

    just for clarification.  The ONCO's office voicemail only said the results were back not what they were.  I called and talked to try PA. She really didn't have much to say other than I'd have to wait to tak to the ONCO on Friday. 

    And Connie - you are e SO right ..waiting omg is torture. I'd almost rather they waited until wed or Thursday to call me.

    Welcome ssjdant. Waiting is the hardest part! There is a wealth of information on this board. Please read through some of the posts if you can. I think you will find it calming. While no cancer is a good cancer, a grade 1 is less aggressive and hopefully yours has not spread. I'm sending you loads of support and hopes that yours stayed put!!!

    Waiting for node results

    Had hysterectomy Wednesday Grade and type 1. After find out since > 50% invasion possible metastasis to nodes. Scared crazy waiting for results sincethis would drastically change prognosis

    Thank you. Trying to keep mind on 90% positive vs. 10% negative. I know odds are in my favor but having hard time focusing there.
