Surgery on lung

in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

Hello Ladies,

My surgery went fine,my thoracic surgeons,  Dr. Baker/Dr.Levy had to remove 1/2 my middle lobe on my right side. It is highly suspicious for UPSC. I will know more in about week.Please pray for recovery and guidance of the doctor and treatment for it. Any suggestions are welcomed....

    I'm glad to hear your surgery went good.  Now, here's hoping they got it all!!  I also have UPSC and that stuff is sneaky but have found ladies on this board who have survived Stage IV.  Keep us posted!!

    Tami, good to hear the surgery went well.  Let us know what the doctor says about what they found and what the plan is.  There are ladies here trying many things, Lou Ann is on Keytruda, she may be able to chime in and give some of her wonderful insight.

    Hugs dear one.  I met you several years ago in DC at the free program and think of you often.

    I am glad your surgery went well.  That  has to be a relief,  although waiting for results is so hard to do.  I hope everything is great and you don't need any further treatment, but if you do there is a lot out there.  After problem with several of the chemo,drugs, I am now on an immunotherapy drug drug called Keytrud.  It seems to be,working and so far I,have very little,in the,line,of side effects.  There is always hope,out there.

    Ladies I received the news that my one solitary nodule that they took 1/2 my middle lobe out for was a recurrence of UPSC. So now I wait to see my oncologist this coming Thursday. I've been reading all the recurrence posts seeing what line of defense is used. Has anyone went on Social Security disability with this? I am also interested in maybe an integrative oncologist....all questions and comments encouraged.
