in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

I saw my gyn/onc today, who poked and prodded everywhere he could poke and prod.  He laughed when he said I am so slender that he can easily feel every lymph node in my groin area.  He spent a little more time during the rectal but didn't feel anything unusual, and said my vagina looked good.  Since we are close to 6 months since my last scan, he is going to go ahead and order another PET scan.  That will put me only a few weeks earlier than the planned schedule.

He said if I want, that I can come in and actually see the PET scan instead of him just emailing me the results, which I think would be cool, because I'm fascinated by stuff like that.  Anyway, feeling a little less stressed tonight.

    Scan is scheduled for tomorrow.  Appointment on Thursday.  Fingers crossed.  Damn, I hate scanxiety!

    See! You made me and I bet a lot of others who read this smile! How can we not? You remind me of Gallagher who has such a talent for injecting humor into the everyday. Gets a smile or a laugh out of me everytime and I don't with a lot of other forms of humor. You missed your calling, but I sure love it!
