Constant Cough
On August 5th. I had a tumor removed from the base of my tongue near my epiglotis. I have had a constant cough since the surgery. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

And the doctor says?
I sure would check with the doctor especially you were recently under an anesthetic (makes me think of pneumonia). There is also the chance your wound is draining.
Also the chance the cough is unrelated. Get it checked.

Seeing the doctor today
Thanks for you reply. I have a followup with the doctor today. I initially called his nurse a few days after being released from the hospital. The checked my lungs and all was clear. They also ran a swallow evaluation and said the left side of my voice box is not functioning properly. I hope to get answers today.
