Hugs Mate
My doctors have always warned me about new tumours springing up. My surgeons exact words were' ýou have beaten this tumour but your are in the zone now and you have to remain vigilant'. with 10 + scopes I have done that but I will always be at risk. I am sorry it has happened to you,,Ron.

Noooooo!
I am so very sorry, Alice! I fear the news of a new met, after so many years, is probably more of a blow than hearing it within months, when you really are still expecting the worse.
I'm sure you've caught it early, and will get it all taken care of in no time.
Keep us up to date on when your surgery is, so we can be sending all those good vibes and prayers.

Aw, I'm so very sorry that
Aw, I'm so very sorry that you're going to have to go through this crap again and go back to the every few months tests and all that bs. GD cancer. See, I've figured out a way to say what I feel without being edited. I pray they find a cure or less invasive treatments before I die. It's something I want to see in my lifetime. Best of luck. I hope it's an isolated incident and is easily fixed. Praying for you. For all of you.

A Few Days Before Yoursabrub said:My pre-op
is next Friday. When is your surgery? Mine is the 27th. Do you want to walk the halls together?
Alice
They may have gotten me in quicker actually. Not a met, #3 primary in a year and a half. I have always been an overachiever
Barring complications and the rest, I should be out about 2 days before you come in. Kind of bummed actually. But if I am up for it, will come back in to hang with you. Seriously. You are in my thoughts as we both go forward...

but he's going away for a couple of days at the end of the prior week, and he wants to be there for me those first few days post op. Who is your medical onc? I've just been assigned to Dr. Reidy.

how did they catch it? Symptoms or scans?
No symptoms. My dr was just saying "one more clean scan and we'll throw you out for good." Didn't quite reach that point. Now I'll never be thrown out for good.
