Hey guys, it's been such a long time since I've been on here. Friday will be 6 years that I was diagnosed with stage 2 rectal Cancer. I'm going in for my 5 year scan this month. Of course, the first thing I open was someone's post about their 5th year scans, and finding a liver tumor. I am so nervous. My husband suffered a massive stroke last year, and is 100 percent dependent on me. It's so very sad, and heartbreaking. As if Cancer wasn't enough, and now this. Life can really be hard, but that's life I guess. I hope that I get the all clear for my familys sake. They already lost their father so I need to be hear for them. Please pray that I get good results. Thank you! |

We will celebrate with you
when you get your clear scans.
I am sorry to hear about your husband. I hope that you are able to share the stress with family, as stress is not good for a body.
Bless both of you.

Hang in there, you'll be on
Hang in there, you'll be on the other side of this scan soon, and feeling good, the odds are with you. Yes some have had reoccurences at different intervals, me too, twice, but nothing's guaranteed in this crazy thing called life. I may as well worry about wrecking my truck on the way to the next scan, for all the good it will do me. Focus on the good stuff. [Why does ice cream always pop up in my head?] I'm sorry about your hubby, that puts a big load on you, and none of it's fair, it just is. My thoughts are with you, and I wait to hear about another clear scan.....................................Dave
