I can understand how you can
I can understand how you can feel that way. Cancer has brought my husband and me much closer together . He also spends every chemo with me. He sits with me and we either bring lunch or we eat out on the way home.. I think I will start calling him, Matalic Blue Mustang. Good luck today, enjoy the day together. Hugs and prayers , Lou Ann

Done and Done
Chemo #3 is in the rear view mirror, done and done. A long tough day, traffic was horrible, chemo started late because pharmacy was backed up, didn't finish until after 5pm, but all ok. Wife is sleeping soundly so I'm glad today is over. 1 more chemo to go next month and we're finished. My wife's gyn/onc is finally onboard with doing 4 rounds. He originally wanted 6 rounds and our second opinion gyn/onc said 4 would be fine. We were happy to hear today that the primary gyn/onc now agrees. Thanks everyone for the kind words. You are all the best!

Red CorvetteI'm glad your wife's oncologist is good with only four chemos. Why take a chance on more persistent side effects if she doesn't have to?

Post Chemo Days
Don't you just hate days 4,5, & 6 post chemo??
Today is my wife's birthday and day 5 and she's been in bed all day sleeping poor thing. At least she's fairly comfortable and the meds (zofram and percocet) are working well for her.
Next years's birthday will be better.
