It will be ten (10) years NED for me in July 2016.  My last CT scan (March 2016) came back clean.  It amazing me how uncomfortable I still get when I see my Onc and get these scans.  The "cancer" word never seems to leave your mind and is always hooving somewhere in the back black areas of your brain.

To this day I am so thankful I found this board and family here, cause without the support I received here, I am not sure I would have been able to get throught those rough times in 2006-2007.

For my 10th NED anniversary, I will be getting a new tatoo on my left shoulder.  I have the colon cancer ribbon on my right shoulder.

       ten years , that is great, I am really pleased for you. Keep on going and stay well. I keep going but i am anything but well , 18+ years of survival has taken a hefty toll on me. Best wishes for the future ,Ron.

    I am so new here (as the name implies) and I am so happy I found this site.  So many wonderful people.  

    I am not sure I have seen you before in the year and a couple of months since I got this stuff on my doorstep.

    But seeing this, KICK IT.   (I am having a bad couple of days.)

    Great to hear!

    I'm now 7 years 4 months NED.  I'm always glad to read about those that have made it past the five year mark.  I wish you peace and happiness.
