Here's an interesting 2 part article written by a journalist chronicling his experiences w/PCa as an active surveillence patient for the past 5 years:

Part 1: http://www.medpagetoday.com/HematologyOncology/ProstateCancer/56070

Part 2: http://www.medpagetoday.com/HematologyOncology/ProstateCancer/56091

    Wolinski story well written

I was able to read both part 1 and part 2 however I had to do a websearch to read part 2 without registering for the first website. Howard Wolinski wrote both articles very well and presented me with new information on the activities by scientists to help verify whether the PCa is either agressive growth or slow growth cells. At this stage of my PCa education that seems to be the "holy grail" relative to being told post biopsy that you have cancer cells detected.

    Thanks for posting these articles.

    Sorry for bad links . . .

Sorry I didn't check the links before I posted them.  Think they should work now w/o requiring any registration.  The 1st article also has buried links to Parts 1 and 2 as well.

Anyway, thought those interested in AS and those still thinking about what to doi about their PCa would be interested in reading it.  Hope that's the case.
