It has been a little over 3 months
Hi,
It has been a little over 3 months since my husband passed away. I have had so much support that I am grateful for. I have went back to work and taking it one day at a time. My kids are 18 and 24 and we all taking it one day at a time. It is so hard. We had 26 years together. Happy Happy years!
My husband mother is going through her battle with liver cancer. This is a lot for the family to handle. Lord will it ever end? I stay in prayer and hopes that she will make it through, but it is scary my soul and spirit is so tired. But something keeps pushing me forward. (Cancer can't win) it can't take over everything no matter how hard it tries. It feels like I am pushing a brick wall....but I am pushing.
Everyone live life like it is the last day as my husband did. That is what makes me happy remembering his smile and the joy he had in the little time he had. We would just go for a ride, we would just go see the green on his favorite golf coures or we would just lie in bed holding hands. He would be so content. He was so graceful....and brave. I will be brave for him!

It is good to see you here
I can only begin to imagine how hard life must be adjusting to the loss of someone you love so much. My thoughts are with you and your children.
I am so sorry to hear that you MIL is also suffering from Cancer. It seems so unfair. So very, very unfair.
I will pray for your MIL aswell.
We have many members who have lost their loved one, posting on a fairly regular basis. Please know that we are still here to give you comfort.
Stay brave.
