As requested, I will add a few pictures from my trip to England and Wales. Just a few of the highlights.  I will post a couple at a time in this thread.

First off, a little background. I'm 55 (56 next month), and as a teenager I was 'In Love' with The Osmonds, especially Jay. Fast forward 40 odd years and here I am, shooting the breeze with 'The Boys'. I had the unbelivable pleasure of spending a few good hours over a couple of days, in the company of Jay, Merrill and Jimmy Osmond, who were touring in England while I was there.

Sadly I can't post the video selfies I took with them, but this first picture I was doing a video selfie with Jay with Merrill 'bombing'.

    Farewell Robin Gibb

I paid my respects to Robin Gibb, a fellow CRC sufferer.  Robin passed away while I was visiting in 2012, and is burried in the little town just down the road from where I grew up. I have loved the Bee Gees for many a year.

(and yes, that is his home in the background)

    Great Pics, Sue

And how fun to meet your "favs". I think my celeb meetups are confined to Lawrence Welk & Joe Feeny when I was a teen. A bit before your time. But(swoon), I sat on the floor about 6 feet from Ricky Nelson on his stage one night.

    Luv,

    Wonderful Pics -

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip.   George and I kinda met Donny and Marie Osmond.  We were boarding a plane here in Michigan headed to Las Vegas and who should be coming down the aisle but Donny and Marie and yes, he is as handsome as he looks on TV.  Hard to believe he is a grandpa now.  Marie is stunning.

    Hugs - Tina

    Memory lane

thats a name I havent heard in awhile - Donny osmond. I didn't have a crush on him but I  it used to watch their variety show in the 70s.   I had not thought of him in years.  He sang "puppy love", right?

"stayin alive" was my motivation song during my first months of treatment, and when I'm not doing well I play it in my head.  It's also in my music library.

glad you got to make the trip

    The Osmonds

was the first concert I went to.  It must have been in '74 or '75.  The were playing at the Fulton County stadium in Atlanta and I went with a friend and her DAD! Surprised

So cool you got to meet them!

What a great experience for your son to study in London. I hope you were able to visit him while he was there .

    Love it!

Don't you just love the random meetings.  Donny is rather easy on the eyes, even now.

    Ricky Nelson

Now he was VERY easy on the eyes. What a treat that must have been.
