Hi all. Well I'm finally home from hospital today 6 days in the hospital not what we accepted, well had the duplex done on my legs no blood clots thank god. Had the CT Scan of Kidney no nerve damage or blockage so dr.s not sure why I still can't lift my leg. But I will do PT at home see if it helps if not then will do MRI.  Ok so pathology results are in. My Lymph Nodes are all clear, yeahhhh.  My kidney Mass came back as Cancer. Dr said all tissues and Cells are all clear.  I am going to rest now check back later.  Thank you all

    Good for you

You are in the best position to answer newbies questions about what recovery was like. It is a lot to go through. Hang in. It will be OK.

Nobody likes to hear the C word

    Mad,

Good to hear everything is going well considering the minor hickups. Unfortunately when they tell you the mass has a 90% chance of being Cancer it usually is. Now that that is behind you it is important to keep everything in perspective and lead a normal as life as possable. And of course keep on top of those kidney function numbers especially where you started with that issue in addition to the RCC.

Everyone glad to be home. Moving my leg a little more everyday. Yes I can walk just cant lift it. Finding myself very tired where I need to take a nap  and go down for the count early in the evening starting to not being able to lay on one side then not being able to lay on the other very hard trying to get comfy.

Thanks for well wishes all god bless

Glad to hear you are home!

Glad to hear you are home! Sure is a puzzle why you cannot move your leg from surgery.

If it were me, I would ask for an MRI just to get a better look. If there was no damage/pinch nerves, then I would see my beloved chiropractor for an evaluation with that MRI. But I don't see a chiro who does the "bone-cracking" kind of method but uses B.E.S.T which works on the nerve pathways, unblocks pinched nerves and therefore re-aligns the spine.

Keep letting us know how you are doing. Hope you keep improving!! REST too!!

Again, glad the surgery is in your past now.

    Please don't wait on this.

The urination issues sound like something I would call about right away, in my opinion based on experience post operatively with my husband. Please call and see what your health care providers say to do. That is my opinion, non-medical of course.
