Cannabis Oil

Since being diagnosed with a recurrence in my lungs and a failed surgery due to additional spread I have been using cannabis oil and chemo.  This topic has been explored, discussed and debated on this board and others.  I think there may be something to it.  I've started a facebook group to explore this in a private setting with those who are interestsed or are using it.  There is a lot of anicdotal evidnece that there is some validity that it can do something for cancer.  I've had a very good response to second line folfiri and avastin and cannabis oil (not hemp oil). If you are interested in joining the group, please send me a private message.

I'm so glad it has helped you, but my friend just passed away last month and he declared that was the cure to his cancer and he was doing so well for about 3 months and then he passed.  I'm not trying to give you a down, but he swore to it also and obviously it didn't help him.  I'm hoping that it works better for you.  I'm not in to all those remedies, but I'm not wanting to get your hopes up either.  We have to see the good with the bad.  I'm just leary about anything that promises "hope" without scientific facts because it didn't work for my friend.  I'm wishing you good luck in future treatments.

The oil is just fantastic for Chemo side affects.  It is legal in  Calif., Colorado and Washington State.

You have to injest it 3 times a day and a gram a day, for at least 60-90 days, gets pretty expensive.  Cannibis cures is a group that is already on FB.

Thats just plain false.  My relative was taking only a few drops of the concentrated oil a day since May as well as the legal CDB oil..   his tumor was at 1.7 inches in May and now it is too small they could not biopsy it!

The scammers never stop, do they?  Hope your son is doing ok.

(for the record, I think adding cannabis oil in might be helpful, altho the science is not clear on it at this point...and made-up internet testimonials don't help settle the question)

he is actually doing good, posted pics on the other site, I believe CO will do no harm at least but it certainly wont be the 'cure' the movment would have everyone believe.

For the record we also tried it and have some on hand.

Carmen - glad youre getting good results.

Question- is this the first time youre receiving this chemo cocktail, or had you had it before with less tumor shrinkage than now with the cannabis oil added? Does that make sense?  In other words, are your results attributable to the mj or the cocktail Itself?

Yes, Tony means the thread, "Update: Novel Protocol using RAD and HYPERBARIC: PLUS IMAGES " at Colonchat (.net) where he has a series of images following treatment.  Very impressive.

This is the conundurum, I am on chemo and oil....so I can't say what the shrinkage is attributed to.  However, what I do know is that before on chemo I needed shots and missed four rounds because of low counts.  Since starting chemo again, with the addition of Avastin, and using the oils my blood counts have been great through 10 rounds straight.  I do think it strengthens the immune system on this basis.  In addition, I haven't had a cold or been sick with anything for many months.  I tupicaly would get three or four colds/flu a year.  It also helps with sleep, stress, side effects, etc.

if you're getting results, that's all that matters.  You're a data set of one!

Pot club today in California and they didn't have cannabis oil. They had hash oil which they said was the same as Rick Simpsons cannabis oil. I doubt that's true but I'm sure it has some CBD and THC in it. Problem is I read you need at least an ounce a day to have an effect and that is really expensive. Making it on my own doesn't seem much cheaper because you need a large amount of weed to begin with. It's also confusingly cheap on Amazon. I'm going to use it but in conjunction with western and eastern treatments, I'll just add it in with everything else. I'm hoping something or combination of something's can slow my cancer. Fingers crossed!

Cannabis on Amazon?  Don't think that is correct. The best way is to get A Medical card and grow your own. I've made it and it's not difficult.   Where in Ca do you live!  Hash oil is the same But it has to be strong.  Have you watched the Rick Simpson video on YouTube?

I live in Oakland, Ca. Medical marijuana is big here, sometimes we're called 'Oaksterdam.' I would be interested in growing my own as I heard you can juice the raw plant too. We have a plan to turn our backyard into a vegetable garden, it would be easy to add in some 'wacky tabacky' I hear it grows like a 'weed.' Lol First things first though, I'm having a liver resection Sept. 15 and I have to heal up from that, then I can become the gentleman farmer I always wanted to be : ) I'll check out that Rick Simpson video. Thanks!

Ha! HA!  Good deal.  I'm in Fresno and go to Stanford for my medical procedures.  Dr Osorio at the Pacific hosipital up on the hill in SF did my liver resection, I really liked him.    Plan to be down for a couple weeks at least, I was out of work 4 weeks but they wanted me out 6 weeks.  I only had 4 weeks of FMLA left.  It's painful but you get pain killers.  I did have an episode at home where the room was spinning uncontrollable, thought I was Dorthy there for awhile.  Luckily, my sister (no not the wicked witch) came over to bring me lunch and she helped me up until the spinning stopped.  That was wierd.

Take Care!

You are down on my calendar, Richard. I will be thinking and praying for you all day and onward.

I like your sense of humour. You will go a long way with that, as you battle this beast.

What we're all going through is certainly grim and I do hate this cancer beast but I believe laughter is good medicine. I heard a great quote- "worry is an abuse of the imagination .' I'm going to stay optimistic and keep smiling. If my time comes soon or twenty years from now I want to look back and feel like I not only lived a life but I lived that life well. Thanks for sending me good vibes and prayers, I'll be thinking of all my virtual friends when I'm on that operating table Monday.

Just for fun I went to amazon.com and searched for cannabis oil, and they do sell it.  Don't know if it's the real deal but amazon had for sale cannabis oil and lots of hemp oil.  is it the real stuff?

It doesn't seem legal but if it doesn't have THC in it maybe it's ok. I think if it does have CBD in it, it's at too low a level to do any good. I think the price is one of those too good to be true things.

The podcasts I'm on, the doctor stated he orderd it from here and it was available to all 50 states. It' only has CBD and not THC.

You may want to research. I have heard that  THC is necessary.  He said no.

Please do not buy it on amazon....it wont be what you need.  The dispensaries in Cali should have something.  Check to see if it is tested.  This is key.  You need very high THC (70-80 Percent) and some CBD.  Source and quality is key.

Hello all.. Hope everyone got to smile and laugh a lil today.. That's my secret recipe for this "thing" we all have.. Lol...

anywhoooo the oils were very helpful during my 6mnths of chemo. Before being DX'd I was 205lbs and in gym everyday.

upon leaving the hospital after my resection I was 145lbs and in bad shape. I could not eat therefor could not fuel my body.

my most favorite foods in the world I could not even look at after surgery and during chemo. I live in NY but have some close friends in Colo.. OMG the difference was night an day.. With jus a lil bit of oils a few times a day through a vape pen I was able to put on 45lbs in just about 5mnths and was strong enough to return to gym.. I still use it frm time to time to this day as I do get some side effects frm the chemo and it definitely helps. I'm not sitting here promoting cannabis use but it 100% worked wonders for me.

thanks and god bless :)

I am sorry for your diagnosis.

Is it Prostate or Colorectal Cancer that you have been diagnosed with?

If it is Prostate, there is a forum especially for that Cancer, if you click HERE  it will take you the forum home page, where you can post.  If it is Colorectal, then it would be great if you posted HERE and start your own thread.

I am really glad that you have been reading on the forums and found help. WE are all here to help you through.

Good luck with your upcoming scans.

Tru
