Anniversary
Today is my 5th anniversary being NED. I hesitated to post because there is no reason I should be NED and others not. My every day begins with a prayer for everyone on this forum and those they love. I needed to post because all of you understand more than any one else. Thank you for supporting me these last 5 years.
hugs,
CM

Many congratulations!
This is happy news indeed!
Never feel bad about posting, as the positive posts are desperately needed. Can you imagine if the forum was just filled with threads about treatment, side effects, death. No, we need the good, we need it to lift our spirits.
May you have , five, five and five five more years ahead.

Doing the Happy Dance! HowJoy1216 said:Celebrate!
Five years NED is really special and is something to celebrate. As a stage I survivor, I just tell myself that my colon cancer was caught early because God has things for me to do here on earth. Likewise, He has things for you to do.

Doing the Happy Dance! How exciting! Keep the prayers coming, we all need them!
God Bless you!

G'day CM
Never ever feel guilty about being ned. None of us ever asked to get cancer. But we did. Some of us had better chances than others to survive. But it ain't neccessarily so. Que Sera ,what will be will be. You joined with us on this board and we share. We share good and bad. We comfort each other in the bad we celebrate the good. Well 5 years ned is good. Congratulations ,may there be many more. Ron.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. You are all 'the best'. I celebrated by spending a quiet day at a beautiful retreat house on the ocean. So filled with gratitude. I am also full of prayers for everyone on this forum....we are united in hope.
Hugs,
CM
