OT possible move

May be moving to the salem oregon area in Oct.  Anyone up that way that can tell me about good apartments in safe areas. Also considering Independence and Keizer. Thanks Stef

    Won't be doing anything

    Won't be doing anything specific until August. Then I will fly up and look at places with a late Sept or Oct move in.  It is exciting but a little daunting. Denise and Kyle will help us with the move. Going to miss living with them them but the owner's are selling the house so a move is happening.  They are hoping to find a small home (2 bedroom) to rent or buy..  Alameda, well anywhere in the bay area, is so expensive so Den and I will be leaving Calif. Den's sister is in Oregon and her kids and grandkids so we will be near family. My brother plans to move there in 2015 and his daughter in a few years. We are really going to miss being with the grandchildren but they will coming to visit us. We were so spoiled to have this huge victorian home to rent together and the rent was so reasonable.  I will update as things progress. Maybe I will win the lottery and we will buy the house. Of course I would have to buy a ticket; something I never do.

    Another good thing with this move is we will keep our Kaiser coverage which I love. Need to find new doctors but I did that when we moved here. Only I kept was my gyn-onc in Sacramento. I have been seeing her for 14 plus years. She is my fav of all and I did not mind the 2 hour drive to see her. She is retiring in August so I would be finding a new gyn-onc anyway. We talked and I can actually switch back to a regular gyn if I want. My uterine cancer surgery was back in 2000 and I have been Ned  ever since. 

    So off to a new adventure.
