Persistent nausea
Hi! Just joined this site today. I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in December 2011. Since then I have had surgery, gone thru 6 rounds of carbo/taxol which gave me 14 months of remission and when my counts started to creep up (18) had 6 rounds of Doxil/Avastin. It seemed to be working but then my counts started to creep up again (22). I am currently on my third round of carbo/taxol again. They have to premedicate me for 5 days before treatment due to a reaction to the carbo during my first 6 treatments. Counts are (16) at present but the treatment in the hospital for 2 days with all the premeds is pretty rough. Even with nausea meds it still persists. No throwing up and I can eat but feeling of nausea persists. Oncology nurse said it is unusual to experience this 3 weeks after treatment and it maybe the disease has found a new place to call home..has anyone else experienced this or found anything that helps with that feeling?
