dj,
Congratulations on hitting the 2-year mark. Make sure you schedule a PET/CT scan, MRI, throat scope, tongue pull, neck feel and throw in a colonoscopy and endoscopy. After all of that bake some cookies and I’ll drop by for a visit.
Sweets for the sweet,
Matt
thank you Matt, both for your post and for making me laugh out loud. you are so funny, i hope you know how much good you do on this site!! i actually had the CT of neck and lungs today and go next week for the neck feel and throat scope but no plans for anything more at this point...lol. i will bake the cookies over, i would a visit with you. thanks matt.

YaYu...
That's a yea you, LOL short version...
Actually I highly endorse a few of those tests that Matt mentioned, especially the Colonoscopy....
I know (or have known), way to many people that didn't get a routine colonoscopy, waited way to long, until they were having a problem, then it was too late or advanced cancer.
It's such a slow growing cancer, nobody should not be tested at 50 or earlier if family history...
Anyways, congrats on the two year milestone.

happy for you and ....
If you look at the moribity charts, most can get out from under the cloud at 3 yrs. The survival rates drop very little beyond that 30 month point. Still the charts never rise to 100%, so this just means chance of being a survivor remains the same. I guess in that context we never get out from under the cloud. Hum... guess this is a good news - bad news post. did not plan it that way.
