in Colorectal Cancer #1

 The results from Pet scan showed the spot on lung not cancerous and the they are going to do surgery possibly next Thursday on colon

    This really, really good news!

    There are many here who have had colon surgery ... so ask questions about anything on your mind. You seem to be in quite good hands there.  

    You also have a NCI Cancer Center in Omaha, Nebraska if you ever need a second opinion or want to explore procedures your hospital does not offer:  Fred and Pamela Buffet Cancer Center University of Nebraska Medical Center. (I wonder if they are relatives of Warren Buffet your famous Nebraskan).

    P.S. Your picture of your grandson was very cute, what a sweet little boy :)

     The surgeon said the team

     The surgeon said the team were going to talk about my case and set appt for me to see her next week before the surgery so should know by then if have to have chemo after surgery or not the outlook is getting better tho.

    Happy day!

    This is good news indeed. 

    The surgery will go well, I just know it will. I did real good after mine, so long as I followed Dr's orders. 

    We'll all be here for you.

    news getting better just got

    news getting better just got approval from VA now hopefully I dont have to worry about the money as they said no copay except for meds

    Thank you and with approval of VA benefits UNMC omaha may be where treatments will happen I am going to VA hospital tomorrow and talk with them and see who they work with.
