New Here: Malignant Renal Pelvis

HI,

I'm new, frightened and would like some support.

I had an MRI for back pain that discovered a cyst on my left kidney.

I had a sonogram and was refered to a urologist.

The diagnosis was malignant renal pelvis. (3 CM Bosniak III cyst)

I am waiting on approval for a CT scan and appointment with a surgeon.

Now what? Im just freaking out.  I have a 9 year old son.
