Tomorrow is a special holiday for all of us Americans (the Canadians celebrated last month). Let us each sit back and think about what we have to be thankful for in the past year whether it is related to RCC or not.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish you all a terrific Thanksgiving, filled with great food, and wonderful moments with friends and family.

And....as comedian Kevin James says:  "Thanksgiving....not a good day to be my pants!"

May your pants be super stretchy on this day!

Have a great one, my friends!

    XO

    Have a Great Thanksgiving!

Hey Iceman, I want to wish you all a great Thanksgiving!  The equivalent in the UK is Harvest Festival which is in either September or October, which ever is the full moon after equinox. Hope you all have a great day of celebrations and a wonderful day being close to your family and friends.

    happy thanksgiving to all of

happy thanksgiving to all of my new friends on this site; we will be going to my in-laws tomorrow, all 40 and counting.

my mother-in-law turns 98, my husband, 67 and our granddaughter, 1; there will be 4 pregnant nieces and one pregnant daughter-in-law.

my husband's last scans were good and he is gaining weight; 8 pounds in 6 weeks so there is much to be grateful for and this mostly Irish clan will raise a glass or 2 or 3 to every good thing this year.

hoping that all of you will have a good day; it is a great holiday with no expectations or commercial exploitation.

    Lion's Football

Well for the last 2 weeks that has not been very appetising, but than there is halftime.

The State champioship High School band from Walled Lake Central High School was chosen as  the only band which will ne playing as part of the halftime show. Knowing that your only grandson, age 14 is one of the drummers makes the day something to be thankful for.

And while this is taking place my 16 year old gramddaughter (the drummer's sister) is driving over for my wife to teach her how to make stuffing as our annual contribtion to the  Thanksgiving dinner at my sister -in-laws.

Now if only the Lion's could win.

What does it matter, the halftime show will be great.

    Lions 40 Packers 10

The key to the Lion's win was the boost they got when my grandson and the other drummers were invited on stage during the halftime performance.

Now for the second half- Thansgiving dinner as Green Bay failed to show up for the second half of the Lion's game..
