Powerful experience today

I was getting chemo today and there was a former patient visiting and talking with the nurses. She was Jamaican or maybe African (not good with accents). Anyway, I'm not the most religious guy in the world but my wife is a devout catholic so I go to church with her and the kids. Back to the story. This lady was walking by me so I smiled and nodded at her, and she looked directly at me and said "you are healed by the power of Christ". Not may you be healed or god bless you or I'll pray for you. I felt a chill go up my spine!!! She said it just like she was stating the sky is blue. Who knows if it comes to pass but I had never felt a more powerful sense than I did from this woman. Just thought I would share.

I'll keep taking treatmentsjen2012 said:That is a great story Tedd.
That is a great story Tedd. Here's to hoping she has a direct line to the big guy
I'll keep taking treatments of course but if I miraculously get cured I know it's not the drugs. They are keeping things stable but not providing anything close to remission or cure.

Love this story. Just keep
Love this story. Just keep believing and think positive. You are in my prayers as well.
My grandmother used toMy grandmother used to say "Pray for courage and then act as if you've received it.' Same as what others have expressed "act as if it's true". It seems that what you felt is as important as what this woman said. Love the story.
