Hey there! I was diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid cancer 4+ years ago. I have been through many trial drugs, surgeries, and radiations. I was looking for information about the drug DCA. I have read great things about it, but you never know when it's outside of the US and most doctors here won't even acknowledge it. i'm at a point where i need a new course of treatment pretty quick. Anyone have any info about this? |

I am in the same situation as your diagnosis. I have tried Nexavar and Zelboraf with serious side effects and had to be taken off of both. I am now going through radiation treatment for the 3 cancerous (TCV with bRAF positive) lymph nodes that are wrapped around my esophagus. I have never heard of DCA. Is that an acronym? If so, what does it stand for?
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,
Google "Dichloroacetic acid". From what I read, it sounds like it's way too early to know if this is a viable treatment.
