Update on Dawne

Dawne did not get good news on Wed. The cancer has spread to 2 lymph nodes in her neck.The tumor has grown and is pushing on her heart vessels,esophagus and trachea and aorta. She is in pain with all this and still major issues with the lymphdema. She had more test yesterday and sees her Onc next week. Thank you all for the prayers. God Bless you all.

    It is a pity they can't do open heart surgery and remove the tumor.  I wonder why they can't do that.  I know this wouldn't eradicate the cancer in the lymph nodes.  It would certainly take off the pressure it is causing on the heart area.

    Dawne is certainly in all our prayers and in our hearts.

    Not what I was hoping for

    Not what I was hoping for but I'm going to pray pray and pray more tonight and days to come.Wishing the best for her and her family. Discouraging but we'll know more after she sees her doctor.

    Darn it ..

    I am sorry to hear this news regarding Dawne's new scans.  I will continue to keep Dawne, her health and family in my thoughts, and prayers.
