Hello all. Just dropping by to say hello and let you know I have been checking to see how all of you are doing. It's been 2 1/2 months since my surgery (laparoscopic right) and things are progressing great. Went through as tough stretch that required pills from the doctor. (anxiety and depression) But again, right now things are great. Work is good, although slow right now. working about 30 hours a week due to renovations going on. Anyhow, I hope all of you are well and Michael, I didn't forget about Cedar Point.

Take care all,

Dan Evans

Hi Dan, I'm glad you're doing well!  Sorry you had to go thru a rough patch but kuddos to you for addressing it with your doctor and getting help.  I noticed your reference to Cedar Point, is that in Ohio?  Just curious.  Anyway, I am 2 1/2 months post-op laparoscopic right side, too.  I'm happy to say, I am no worse for wear although, I think the whole ordeal aged me 10 years!  I've had my share of rough patches, I think we all have, that makes us normal.

    Stay positive!  Think happy thoughts!

Pleased to hear from you Dan,

Pleased to hear from you Dan, and, even more pleased, you're feeling so great.  The tough stretch that you refer seems to be an automatic for most RCC patients, but the important thing is  you're back up.

Don't be a stranger. We're here for you, just like I know you'll be for us. Thank you for the update!

    Hey Dan

Isn't it amazing how fast time goes by.  It's almost been a year for me already.  I hate this depression and anxiety crap......I think they are the same thing.  I have taken the advise of some of the guys on the board and started exercising more.  I am not claiming I dont still reach for the ole zanax bottle once in a while but I really think it helps

    Cedar Point

    Sindy,

Yes things are quite well with regards to the surgery. My family doctor is a pretty easy guy to talk to, by that I mean he really listens to what you have to say and explains things thoroughly.

With regards to Cedar Point, it is in the city of Sandusky which is in Erie county in Ohio...on the shores of Lake Erie. Between Toledo and Cleveland, roughly an hour either way.

    Take care,

    Dan
