Hi,

I had stage IIII colon cancer metastised to my left ovary in May 2009,
had a surgery, had a 7 months of chemotherapy.
All were good until November 2012. The cancer was back invading my uterus, and a part of my bladder. Went through the surgery, uterus was removed as well as a part of my bladder. Still the result of pathology showed some cancer left in my bladder. I started the chemo on March 29, 2013.
Had finished the 3 cycle, but couldn't start the 4th one.
So, I have  a break for 2 weeks. Going back for it on May 27th.

I can do it, I will survive. I am good I tell myself.

    Sorry

Sorry to hear all that you have gone through.  Wishing you the best for future treatments.  Maybe this break is good for you.  You are in my thoughts.

I know how hard it is to face multiple recurrences..

there are a number of us here on the board who have had a similar experience.  I hope the break gives you a chance to regain some strength and face the next round.  And hopefully the chemo will get you back to the point where you can have another resection (I"m assuming by what you said that the margins weren't clear on the bladder?).  Surgery can offer a lot of hope.  Personally, I had to have five to get to NED, and may well have more in my future.  Keep us posted on how you're doing.

    Hugs and strength~AA
