    Rain...

Raining here so yardwork is out. I'm working on websites and hope to get a little guitar in.  Sunday we will visit my 93 year old Mom. I saw my 96 year old Aunt on Wed which was her Birthday.
This will also be my wife's first Mother's Day without her Mom. We'll be stopping by the cemetery to plant flowers

    Baseball....and Mother's Day

I wonder when spring will be here? Sat at a baseball game this morning with a down jacket, earmuffs, scarf, gloves, and blanket and I was still freezing!! I think it was high 30's or low 40's and windy. Baseball BBQ tonight. Tomorrow we will meet at my sisters for Mother's Day ...my mom is 80 and doing well and has been so supportive to me. All five of my kids will be there and three grandchildren .... I am a lucky Mom and Grandma. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there.....thinking of you!!! ~Ann

Starting adjustments for my beau's tests...

One doc is saying he needs to be put on the heart list....FAST...sigh...another, not so sure...

...and then, a test scheduled for Monday can't be done...my fault...I asked "Doesn't he need to be off of blood thinners for awhile before you do this?"....idiots!  (This was in his patient record.  No one said a word about stopping....sigh...)

    Happy Mom's day to all!

    Hugs, kathi

    Very busy

Spent today visiting Mustang shops to purchases last pieces to the 67 custom Mustang I had started building my husband 4 years ago, before I could finish the interior (392Beast engine, T-5 Transmission, rack and pinion steering system, Flamimg River steering column, posi rear-end, Shelby fiberglass parts, electric factory tinted windows I had finished installing) cancer took hold, and completing the interior took a back seat.  So took the car to my former business partner last week (we owned a restoration Mustang shop together) and he finished most of the interior.  SOOOOO......he and I will put on final parts (except for headlights which no one had and had to order) tomorrow and will drive the baby home.  It's a convertible as well (I also put in 2003 Mustang convertible comfortable seats) so sunny day tomorrow will have the top down and cruising, paint job next and all done!!

Oh and spent Friday at the surgeons office, surgery tentative date is May 23rd for liver resection at Stanford.

    little things (post #1)

It has been beautiful in Arkansas with clear blue skies and temps around 78.

My family of 5 children is all together this weekend for mother's day, now that my older boys are home from college for the summer.  We have spent the weekend outdoors playing with our puppies (down to 4 from 11), talking, laughing, and doing a small amount of yard work.  We have more of that planned for today- after church this morning.  Nothing in this world better for me than having all my eggs back in the same basket.

I begin my first treatment of FOLFOX a week from tomorrow and plan to have as much ice cream and sunshine as I can fit in.  A beautiful weather forcast the week ahead should help.

Best wishes to you all out there for a wonderful end to the week and a very Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!
