Recurring Gall bladder cancer

Hi! 

My finace had his gall bladder removed in 2011.It was full of cancer and  they took part of his liver at that time as there were lesions on it. He went through 6 months of chemo and was told there were no signs of cancer after that time. About 6 weeks ago, he developed a cough,went to the Dr who diagnosed bronchitis and walking pneumonia. The cough didn't go away and he started getting pain in his mid back and below the right shoulder blade. I took him to the ER where a CT scan showed a large mass 8.4 x 8.7. All of his labs are normal including his CA19-9,it is 11. The first time he had cancer,it was in the thousands. He has no jaundice. He is scheduled for an ultrasound guided biopsy on Tuesday. The  oncologist is telling us it is inoperable and he only has months to live. He is a fighter and so am I. I need some guidance on questions to ask the Dr.,second opinions, treatment protocols I see survivors on this board,so it is possible. What is the best treatment and does anyone recomment the radiaion beads? Therasphere? He is in a lot of pain . How can we fight? We refuse to accept a death sentence! And is there anything else a mass can be that is non-cancerous?
