Torisel/Temsirolimus question

Hi all. For once, this question isn't for me. I have a family member who has advanced RCC. He is going to start treatment with torisel on Thursday, and I was wondering if there was anyone here who could tell us about any experiences they had with that particular drug. How bad were the side effects that you had or saw? Anything would be helpful.

    Hi Patrick..not sure of the answer myself. In the meantime, can you search for torisel and see what comes up on the boards until you get your answers.  Hope all goes well. One thing the doctor told me at Sloans is that Torisel tends to raise the sugar levels so for someone who is diabetic they have to keep a close watch on that.  Take care!
