second biopsy showed Gleason 4+3 = 7
Is anyone up on treating a portion of the prostate with radiation or cryo, I am told that cryo treatment can do that. I have not heard any talk about this.

Focused Cryo
There's a guy on the "Healingwell" prostate forum who had focused cryo at the University of Colorado Hospital. "Ziggy9" swears by the treatment and wonders why more guys do not use it. According to him, no side effects and a fairly straight forward procedure.
I must stress that this is a focused procedure that only goes after the tumor ... it does not treat the entire prostate as some cryo procedures do. I would guess that if you only go after the known tumor, you may miss undetectable PCa that is confined in the prostate ... this is just a guess on my part.
