Here I am!  I didn't mean to worry anyone.  I have been a little down.  My local lab misplaced a very important pathology order (Caris next generation sequencing) and my oncologist really wants those results.

Because the order and specimen weren't sent until 3 weeks after my biopsy, I have really wasted time.  The results take about 2 weeks--even if rushed.

So I have gone to my garden, so to speak.  It is where I go when I am really stresses.  And I have had a bumper crop of lovely irises and seen birds that I rarely see, so that has brought my soul great peace.

I am doing fine with the Afinitor.  I have a few mouth sores, but I've had worse.  So far, so good!  I am still working and my energy there has been pretty good (actually a great distraction).

I love you all and didn't mean to scare you.

Love the Painted Bunting, so it's not a normal bird in your neck of the woods?  I am forcing forsythia to bloom in my house and you have irises.  I have to wait until the end of June to see them.    I think irises are one of the most beautiful flowers ever grown.  They remind me of my dad who had bumper crops of them too.

Working in a garden is the best therapy I know of to relieve stress.  I use to love weeding.  More the merrier and when I finished, I forgot all my troubles.  I can't get down in the dirt like I use to due to my brace and knees.  How I miss it but I am going to devise some way I can get back in the garden.  I loved it and use to plant the gardens at historical houses too.  It wasn't my main job (guiding was) but, I love it because it relaxed me like nothing else did.

I know that Afinitor gives mouth sores and am glad that there doable.

We seem to get a painted

We seem to get a painted bunting or two each spring, but they are rare for us.  I have worked very hard to make my garden a wildlife sanctuary: woods at the back of the lot and lots of native plants.  It seems to be working because I have had a bumper crop of songbirds this year. 

Thank you all for your concern and I promise to let you know my test results just as soon as I hear.

Oh, also, I did have my Muga scan and it was normal, so that was a piece of very happy news.  I was worried because I had had a small heart attack back in 2008.  My cardiologist thinks the hattack may have been related to undiagnosed mets as he says that mets can cause clotting issues that can cause a very distal artery heart attack like mine.  Anyway, my heart seems to have recovered nicely  That will open up more options for me.
