I want to share some good news for those of you using Evoxac.  I just had mine refilled and was plesantly surprised that it is now available in a Generic. It was costing  me a  $90.00 co-pay because it was not on my insurance company formulary. The co-pay is now $8.00 for the generic. The Gernic is Cevimeline. The next time you need a refill ask your pharmacy for the Generic.

    Does it work???

I know all meds work differently for each person ...but does this truly help with dry mouth for most or just some??? Or any feedback would be great.

Thanks for posting on this med.  Sound interesting ....

    Dry Mouth

I have been using it for seven years. It has worked well for me. I had tonsil cancer with maximum amount of radiation. I can definitley tell that my mouth is much drier if I don't take the Evoxac. A lot of people have success with Salegen as well.

The only thing it did for me

was mess with my peripheral vision to the point where I thought there were apparitions in my house.  When I woke up, I also suffered somewhat of tunnel vision.  I stopped taking it very quickly.  Seems to me there were a couple other side effects that I didn't like but that was 9 years ago and I really don't remember what they were.
