I need to ask for the pink bus tomorrow please, we are going to see my wife's Surg Onc for her path report from her bilateral mast last friday. Needless to say, I'm scare  to death that it is going to be bad news. I don't know why, just a bad feeling. God Bless.

Listen Dennis things have a way of working out and you and your wife will be fine. FIrst get the cancer out and then work on the body to build a strong immune system to make sure it never comes back. If there is any residual cancer get her body alkaline and fight fight fight!

We are all here praying for you and God is good!!!!! He will hear all of us!!

    Please keep us informed!

Count on me being on the Pink Bus.Wishing your wife a good report on her tests. Thoughts and Prayers to both of you. I'm going to think positive.

Yes Thank You for your service. My husband is a Viet Nam vet(recipient of the Purple Heart). Our son was a Marine in the Gulf War. Someone I cared deeply for was killed in Viet Nam.My husband goes  with me every year to put flowers on his grave and his family's graves..My husband understands the pain.He lived it.It's very hard on those left behind. You never get over the loss and heartbreak.

    Hi Lynn,

Thank you so much for the reply. I too understand how it feels to loose someone in a combat enviroment, numerous friends of mine are resting in Arlington Cemetary. I try to go by as often as possible and it never gets any easier. God Bless.

Yes they're never forgotten.I know SOME of my husband's pain but we don't talk about it much.He tells me he wants to talk about it someday but we never do. I don't know if it's something I could deal with. I told my friend I was afraid something would happen. And when it did I fell apart.I will never forget the last look he gave me.It will be with me forever. It was a long stare as if this may be the last time I see you. And it was.

A few years ago my husband and I went to the Moving Wall.He collapsed(in shock) when he found a name of a friend on the wall.He left him behind and didnt know he died.It was hard.Several other service guys came to help him.I was shocked and heartbroken how hard it was. My husband had a Heart Attack soon after..We have a Wall at a cemetery close to where I live.It lists many locals and it's hard seeing so many we knew.

Again Thank You for your service.I'm sure like my husband people tell you "Thank You for Your Service" all the time.My husband gets this alot when we're out. They see his Purple Heart License Plate. And many times when we go to functions the service men(all) are asked to come forth.

    Hi Lynn,

It is very hard to deal with but to be honest with you , the fight against breat cancer with my wife was by far harder for me than the 5 combat tours I served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a bomb technician. I think it was because I had no control over the situation. I could not fix things and I was at the mercy of someone else to save my wifes life. It crushed me, but with the help of friends, family and people like you on this website we have gotten through it and it has crtainly made us realize that we need to live every day as if it were our last. Who knows what tomoorw hold but what we do know is that we have today and we need to make the best of it.  We both take Tim McGraws song " live like you are dying to heart now" I hate that it took cancer to make us realize this but sometimes it takes a smack in the face to get us headed in the right direction. God Bless and thank your husband for his service for me.
