What happened to that good-looking cat I was talking to? Just kidding...it's great to see people's faces! Wish i could figure out how to put pictures into the body of the message. AA
I guess your pictures have to been on the internet then you can insert them. When you attach them you cant see the picture. I will get the cat back up in a day or two.
Yep that works, but I tried to copy & paste a different picture from desktop or picture folder didnt work. Must be a way to attach pictures into message. Well goodie this gets my mind off my husbands cancer. However I see you have two pictures up. I want to see pictures of your kitties
guess I'm just used to the Pacific NW. We basically have no accent at all (boring) so I really notice it when others have a hint of something regional to their speech. I've read that people from the PNW make good newcasters, but I want an accent! AA
Big is good..we can see them! Great shot...i bet the girls adore the little guy...and he must idolize them! I kind of like having the age separation...mine are 15; 13 and almost 1 1/2.
Mine are 21, 17 (18 in a week), and 8. Absolutely no family planning on our part, but it's worked out great! Nothing like built-in babysitting. And not to be morbid or anything, but the girls will act as my son's guardian if something were to happen to both of us; before it was my in-laws, and they are really too old now for that job. My poor son has had to deal with my cancer for almost his whole life, but he's brought such joy to us during what would have otherwise have been a very bleak time...he's the little golden light at the heart of our family.
Our little guy was a surprise...best surprise ever. Found out i was pregnant shortly before our 20th anniversary! Crazy! I completely understand the guardianship...i worry a lot with my husbands diagnosis what if something happened to me. It is comforting to know the 15 yr old will be an adult in a few years.
my laptop crashed.......then i received an unsolicited email from "Modern Body Reconstruction Magazine" if i wanted to be their next centerfold-i declined-my stoma is rather shy
and he is just over a year old. My husband and I have always had dogs but after our golden retreiver and mixed spaniel passed on a few years back and then my husband became ill ... we thought we could not handle another ... but then we just made the decision to live everyday as best we could and we got this little fella. He has been a great joy to my husband and will lie down quietly by his side in the bed when he is not feeling well and just stare gently at him with his big sweet eyes. I love having critters around; they bring such comfort.
Now that we are learning to put photos in the text space it would be fun to have a call for photos of specific types of things like pets, kids, spring flowers, personal artwork, wild animals, cars, I don't know ... just thinking of fun distractions for everyone. I have always liked Pepe's "It's Friday any fun plans for this weekend?" type thing. It is nice to have the occasional break from thinking of cancer all the time. I am really enjoying everyone's photos.
For anyone here that feels low nothing like a great Dog or Cat. Our cat really helps keep my husband calm. She loves to nap so can always join him in a nap, & keep him company if he is feeling low.
We have lots of family, but quiet time with a pet is so nice. Both of us have grown children that all live out of state. When we can we take off and visit them. We miss the cat when we take off, she has fun at my sisters with her cats when we are gone.

I am terribly shy ... this is best I can do right now.
I don't think this is coming through ... I am copying and pasting image ...?
Joined: Oct 2011
You can't cut and paste...
You click on "insert image" (the little blue/green icon in the tool bar below "comment")
Insert/edit Image box pops up, click on the little box at the end of the Image URL box (says "browse" when you hover over it with cursor)
File Browser box pops up, click on "upload" in upper left hand corner
New box opens, click on "choose file"
This takes you to the area where you can access photos on your computer (in my case, my photos are on Iphoto, for example), select photo there to add.
Hope that helps! AA
