Hey all! We're still in the hospital, BUT Jason is in the process of getting his first chemo treatment! (YAY!....finally....) He slept all the way through the first one (Oxaliplatin?) with no problems, after that finished he ate a good dinner (first "real" food he has had since Saturday), he's finished with the one that helps to flush out the kidneys, can't remember the name of that one, but it took 2 hrs., now the nurse is about to start the 5-FU. Oh, & before the second med. finished he ate a piece of cake. =) (that may not seem like much, but he hasn't been able to eat hardly anything for a while without it making him sick) So, I just wanted to let you all know that his chemo has FINALLY started, & (so far) no side effects....please pray that it continues with such ease. Thank you all again for just being here for us.....((((HUGS)))) Kris

    All pumped up?

So is he being hooked to the 5FU and being sent home?

I'm glad that he is eating and enjoying. What a blessing!

May all continue on this happier plane. We will not stop praying for his welfare, and your peace of mind.

    I'm not sure....

I'm not sure about that Trubrit....they hooked him up to it at around 10:00 pm, & said of course he'll be on it all night, but I'm not sure about tomorrow, whether they will send him home to get the rest of it or if he'll stay here. As much as I hate hospitals I kinda hope they just let him stay here 'til that finishes. Please keep the prayers going up! ((((HUGS)))) Kris P.S. I'm gonna put another post up in a bit re: HIPEC treatment, so if you know anything about it I'd love to get your input. Thanks!
