Prayers needed

Okay...take two.....my last one disappearEd.

I am being referred to a urologis. To rule out bladder cancer.  I have had a week....2 ER visits and gyn appt.  Hopefully it will be today I get to see urologist.  And I thought norovirus was rough.  Try sleeping with the feeling that you have to pee knowing that when you go, the feeling will still be there....ugh.

What has been going through my head is "it's not cancer until they tell us it is".   I am so grateful to this board for that.  You have filled me with encournet, net, fight, realism, appreciation, and really kept me level headed through tout my husbands battle.  He is doing great....good one month post check-up today....scans on 4/3.....let the scaniety begin.

I just want to thank you all for what you have given me.  I will fight and duck when and if cancer throws that left hook at me.  I will take it day by day.  Amd until they tell me otherwise, I just have an angry bladder.

And prayers or positive thoughts would be welcome.....you are all so good about that.

Wish me luck and strength,

Kirsten

    Always !

    Kirsten,

You have been through some rough waters.  I'm still praying it's cystic kidneys...which is no fun either, but please God no cancer.  I will keep you tucked deep in my pocket through the next few days for good results.  And yes please stay positive, and take a breath....Katie

Thanks Katie.  I am hoping for something simpler too.  But I am glad to be in your pocket for a few days.

    Thanks,

Kirsten ....on the mirror you go!!!!

I did this for Katie and now you.  Up on my mirror (I use every morning) your name will go and each morning I will whisper a prayer for you that all is well and will be well.  I usually leave them up thru a specific date/ scan or time ...so let me know when your tests will be and I'll keep you up on that mirror till the day after.

It's obvious you got the fight in you ...but you really don't need this and your husband doing battle at this time.....in fact, let's put  you and your husband on the mirror.   Your husband is on till 4/4  :)  Scaniexty - Phooey!  :)

    Best,

    Tim

    Kristen....

you will be tucked in two pockets today Smile....I like that if there is one thing you've picked up on here is the knowledge that it ain't cancer till somebody in the know says it is.....let that carry you when fear trys to rule your head.  It's easy to understand for sure...the last few months have been consumed with cancer this, cancer that....infusions, radiology, and the etc list is as long as you are tall.

You have a ton of positive thoughts and prayers from me.....

    p

    What is this.....a pi**ed off bladder?? Sealed I didn't say that.....LOL.

    Urine good hands

When they did the surgery, I had a catheter put in. Apparently, my bladder didn't like it and was in spasms. It was like I had to go really bad all the time. I often have dreams that I have to go and upon doing so in my dream, I never feel relieved. It's then I wake up and realize I have to go! Good thing those dreams don't come true! ~lol~

Sending positive thoughts and prayers that you find relief and that all will be well.

    Good thoughts

I pray when you find an answer that the word cancer is not associated. I just returned from the urologist's office and had my stent removed. Kidney stone was removed last week. That stent was wicked. I'm also in the middle of hyperbaric chamber tx so it was very difficult spending 2 hours a day confined with the horrible urge. I sympathize with you.

    Luck and Strength!

    Kirsten,

In reading your post, I get it.. I am starting to think that caretakers, any small thing that was lurking gets us when we are not looking! I too started to fall apart when Dan was getting stronger.. had a backache, and now four major follow ups for big things.. I was healthy when we started! Or so I thought!

I am going to call it caretakers syndrome, and it's real!.. but I have it too!

I will pray for you too so that you get the luck, and strength to get through this easily and comfortably!

    Good Luck,

    Kari
