Hi, My aunt has CLL, she is in her middle 80's. She has been on a pill form of chemo for 2 weeks now, just found out from the dr. that she would have to be on this chemo pill for 1 or 2 years! She is feeling awful and has constant nausea and very tired. Has anyone else been on chemo pills for a couple of years with CLL? Thank you for your help.

I am also new
My 44 year old husband was just diagnosed with aml today. We don't yet know the type, should know more in the next couple of days. He will start induction Chemo on Monday. My concern is how well he will be able to tolerate treatment. He has a pre-existing heart treatment which caused him to have to have a pacemaker and implanted defibrillator. He also has several infections going on in the body right now including a lung infection that might be pneumonia. Will I be able to visit him while he's going through this? His doctor expressed concerned about his exposure to others.
