Still waiting

Hello Dearhearts

Well, I am still waiting to hear about the results from last weeks scan. This is hard, not knowing anything. I am used to receiving my results fairly quickly. But this new doc, well I just have to wait.

This has been such a hard week. I am hoping that next week will be better. Between Thanksgiving, the scan, my moms bday, grandson's bday and our anniversary, I am just worn down.

I am having a quiet day so far, just addressing wedding invitations. Rain off and on and just resting is really what I needed and very nice right now.

I hope you all are having a peaceful weekend. Stay well and warm..

Hugs
Lisha

I don't like to wait either. What I have been doing is going to the radiology center the day after scans and picking up a copy of the scan and the radiologists report. Its free and certainly speeds things up.

    have a nice weekend.

    Hi Sweet Lisha
    Hi Sweet Lisha,
Man the waiting is I think one of the hardest thing we have to deal with, I'm also waiting to see my Onc this Thursday. Really hoping to hear good news! Try to stay calm or try to stay busy whatever works for you to keep your mind off of things. Take care and I will be sending positive thoughts your way. (((Hugs)))

    Sincerely,
    Liz

    Waiting...
    Hi Lisha,
First off.."Happy Anniversary"! Ours is the 22nd...it will be 34 years. I'm sorry you are still having such a hard time healing and feeling better. Waiting for scan results is so very stressful. I always get a copy mailed to me and have somewhat of an idea how things look before seeing my doctor. This way I can have a list of questions to ask regarding parts of the scan report that I don't understand. Too often we are told the bare minimum and left wondering what it all means. I'm one of these people that "needs" to know what everything means! We've had a rough week also...Steve came down with a nasty cold last Sunday and despite my best efforts to keep from catching it, I am now battling it. I did get on an antibiotic to keep it from going into my chest, but the stuffy nose, and plugged up ears and head is driving me crazy. Poor Lizzy also caught it and in turn gave it to her mom and dad, so we are all a mess! "Tis the season"! Well sweet lady...you hang in there and let us know what you find out. Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way..(always)! Much love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    I am with you
    Dear Lisha,

Rest and just hanging around is what I need also. Especially on a rainy day. I know this
time of year is stresful for all. Especially when not feeling well. Anyway, happy anniversary and many more.

Peace, what a wonderful word. Just to be peaceful, quiet, and in a good place is where we all want to be.

Hugs and love from me. Maggie
