Hi, My name is Alyssa I am wondering if anyone knows of any websites that are actually real for cancer survivors to get grant money to go back to school? I have been a survivor since I was six years old, I am now 24 years old!! I always hear about these scholarships or grant money that is awarded to cancer survivors but everything I look up is a scam. Is there any real help for cancer survivors wanting to go back to school? |

This is the first I've heard of any such grant. Would have come in handy, I too have been a survior since age six. I'm 32 now. I don't know what state you live in but mine has a Childhood cancer organization base out of Des Moines Iowa. They started a program for survivors a few years ago and have an annual conference.
If you google children's cancer connection you will find there website. I would contact them and see if anyone there may have an answer for you.

I did some research but couldn't really find a specific website that offers grant. But I think if you contact this site: http://cancerhopenetwork.org/index.php?page=home - they may be able to point you to the right direction. Hope this helps!
