It's been awhile since I have been on here. I think that means I'm getting along pretty well now. It has been a year since my OC diagnosis and surgery. I finished up 8 rounds of chemo in mid-February. I'm finally getting past some of the post chemo pain in my feet and knees. My hair has grown back. I just went for my 2 month check up and my CA 125 is 24 (it doesn't seem to want to go any lower than that). I go back for another CT scan Dec. 14th and get my power port taken out on the following Monday, Dec. 17th (I will have had it in for 1 year and 5 months). Whoo-hoo! It will feel good to have it out.
I'm so thankful that God allowed my cancer to be caught in an early stage...I've been blessed in that way. My heart and prayers go out to all you women who continue to battle this cancer in more advanced stages. I truly empathize with you. This discussion board has been very helpful to me in gathering information about my illness and it has brought encouragement from all you women who are going through the same thing, through your open and honest sharing. Thank you!

Good to hear
from you, Sara and I am happy about your good news. Please continue to check in from time to time. We have been asking about some of the women we haven't heard from in a while. I hope, like you, it is because they are doing well.
My best to you and your cute puppy.
