Has Anyone Heard From Mary (MsGebby)?

HI
I just got my power back. Got through the storm unscathed. Thank You God! No phone still. I never thought I could handle being alone through such a horrific storm. Somehow I did it! YAY ME .... Hubby still not home. He told me he should be home tomorrow. OMG ... it's been so scary. I am doing my best to reach out to others who need help. One of my brothers lives in an area that was hardest hit. He managed a text message to me so I know he is OK.
I am laughing cuz I didn't think I could live in a world with no electronic toys! But I found myself walking a lot and reading even more. As darkness fell, I was pretty much lost.
Most of our food is spoiled so we will have to find good food somewhere. I am glad that I stocked up on soups, crackers, cereal, water and toiletries. We take a lot of things for granted in our daily lives. Even someone who is a survivor, things are still very much taken for granted. It's truly amazing. I am blessed and I just want to help others.
I pray that you all are doing well (as well as can be expected that is). And I thank you Doris for asking about me. xoxoxox -
