Prostate Cancer Pony Express - Rally in DC on 9/9/12

The cross country ride that took a proclamation to all 50 state capitals and involved more that 100 riders riding over 12,000 miles since March is ending with a rally in DC on September 9th. (see: http://prostatecancerponyexpress.wordpress.com/).

I rode a leg of the trip back in July as the messenger bag made its way through NC. Now I plan on riding up to DC over the weekend of 9/8 - 9/9.

All of this is to raise awareness about the value of testing and screening for Prostate Cancer. Also, funds are being raised to pay for men to get tested that cannot afford it (you can donate here: http://www.active.com/donate/2012PCPonyExpress/crgouge).
