Did anyone hear about Curcumin treatment for PCa

My father is CRPC and is on secondary hormone treatment - but in advanced stage with PSA >100 and bone mets . One of my friends has suggested , Curcumin (turmeric) based treatment for his PCa - any idea on side effects and reliability ?
