My wife is having her first post treatment PET/CT tomorrow. We are both getting very anxious. She has endured 28 pelvic radiation treatments, 9 rouunds of cisplatin and three rounds of Xeloda for Bartholins gland cancer with mets to both groin nodes and to nodes in the iliac region. We are so nervous. She (we)is so scared that all of the surgery and treatments and agony of going througj this will be for nothing. She had no symptoms other than tenderness in her groin. She has not felt like she did before surgery since. |
