Finally off prednisone!

My doctor sent me an email over the weekend and told me that I can finally stop the prednisone. Yippee! Seems like I have been on it forever, and I'm not convinced that it did me any good at all. I had an actual, real dinner tonight - not yet another plate full of asparagus and spinach. I've been so afraid of gaining weight on the prednisone that I feel like I haven't had a full meal in weeks. And maybe my feet and ankles will get back to normal now. They are still swollen, although better than they were when I was on the higher dose. I am really not going to miss it one bit!

    Hi Janine,
I'm soooo happy for you! I think I hated the prednisone more than the chemo. Enjoy your new found freedom. Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)
